Association of MBAs event booking


In these terms and conditions, the expressions shall have the following meanings: “Organisers” – Association of MBAs. “Delegate(s)” – The person, company or organisation who has registered for a place at the Event. “Venue” – the place where the event takes place. “Event” – event organised by the Association of MBAs.

Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that plans in the Organiser’s literature are accurate, the organisers give no warranty to this effect and shall have no liability in respect of any inaccuracy in such place. The Organisers reserve the right to alter plans and specifications at any time without notice.

Any delegate cancelling a place after booking is liable for payment according to the following cancellation charges:

  • Cancellation 30 days or less prior to the event: 100% charge 
  • Cancellation 31 to 60 days prior to the event: 50% charge 
  • Cancellation more than 60 days prior to the event 20% charge.
Delegate replacement will be granted if written notice and replacement registration are received at least 5 days prior to the event date, and no charge will be incurred for this service.

The Organisers reserve the right to cancel participation at events of any business school which loses its accredited status.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse the registration of any Delegate at the Event.

Delegates must comply with all reasonable instructions given by the Organisers or the Event Venue authorities and must observe all regulations issued by the site authorities for Delegate and contractors, which regulations shall be deemed to be incorporated in any contract between the Delegates and the Organisers.

Photography is not permitted at the Event without prior written permission from the Organisers.

The Delegate is liable for any damage caused to building, floors, walls or columns by any materials they use.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse to admit or to expel from the Event any person at any time.

Delegates must not do, or permit, on the venue premises:

  1. Anything which shall be in any way a nuisance which is in the opinion of the Organisers, contrary to the character of the Event.

  2. Distribute advertising and printed materials. In the event of complaints, the matter shall be referred to the Organisers for their decision.

The Organisers undertake to make all reasonable attempts to provide necessary services and the smooth operation of the Event but accept no responsibility for breakdown or failure of such services.

The Organisers reserve the right to refuse the registration of any Delegate at the Event.

  1. Cancellation or abandonment If the Event is cancelled or abandoned by reason of war, fire, national emergency, labour dispute strike, lock-out, civil disturbance, inevitable accident, the non-availability of the Event premises, or any other cause, whether ejusdem generis or not, the Organisers may at their entire discretion repay the rental paid but the Delegate or part thereof, and shall be under no obligation to repay the whole or part of such rental and shall be under no liability for the Delegate in respect of any actions, claims, losses, (including consequential losses) , costs, expenses, whatsoever which may be brought against or suffered or incurred by the Delegate, as a result of the happening of any such events.

  2. Failure to Vacate If the Delegate or the Exhibitor, or their servants, agents or subcontractors should fail to remove all their property or otherwise fail to vacate the Events premises in accordance with the timetable issued by the Organisers, the Organisers will hold the Delegate or Exhibitor fully responsible for any penalties imposed by the Venue owner, or any other losses and costs incurred by the Organisers as a result of the Delegates or Exhibitor failing to vacate the premises by the agreed time.

  3. Insurance. Delegates’ or Exhibitors’ property: The Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss or damage from any cause whatever. In respect of any property brought to the Event’s premises by Delegates or Exhibitors or their servants, agents or subcontractors or any other persons and the Delegates are required to indemnify the Organisers in respect of any such loss or damage to any other property or not.

  4. Each Delegate or Exhibitor shall indemnify the Organisers against any alleged claim which may be upon them in respect of any alleged breach or infringement of any copyright or patent by the Delegate or Exhibitor during the period of their attendance at the Event.

The Organisers reserve the right to alter, add to, or amend any of these terms and conditions. Should any questions arise, whether provided for in these conditions or not, the decision of the Organisers shall be final. No alterations, addition, amendment or waiver to or from their contract.
