About our guest speaker

Taiwo OyewoleTaiwo Oyewole began her career in Shell in 2006 working as a Process Engineer for the North Sea Upstream assets based in Aberdeen.

After completing her graduate training, Taiwo was given the opportunity to transition into a broadening assignment in Shell Trading, working as an Oil Market Analyst, based in London.

Taiwo transitioned back into the technical, relocating to Houston, to work as a Senior Facilities Engineer for the unconventional Eagle Ford and Permian Assets, where she managed the 50+ well pad facilities.

Taiwo currently works as the Bitumen Supply Optimisation Manager for Europe/Africa within the Bitumen Global Commercial Business, where she is responsible for maximising the financial margin within a dynamic market across the various sale channels.

Prior to joining Shell, Taiwo gained her Master’s Degree (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London.
