AMBA Innovation Award Finalists

The MBA Innovation Award celebrates the best new practices, risks and creativity initiated around AMBA-accredited programmes. This year we have four strong finalists, all who have proven their commitment to delivering ground-breaking practices in their MBA programmes. Here are the innovations which made them stand out:

Board game support real business development

Nanorider is a board game developed by three members of Grenoble Ecole de Management. It aims at understanding the innovation process through creating new products and services using nanotechnologies. These 42 technologies were detected in the most advanced research labs of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission. The ideas emerging from the game can therefore support real business development.

Hult International Business School logo

Genesis of a new MBA programme

Hult International Business School has redesigned its MBA program based on input from business executives about what skills and competencies make MBAs most successful in the business world. The new curriculum integrates managerial soft skills development through training, practice, coaching, and feedback with classroom teaching, simulations, and live case challenges.

MSM logo

Maastricht School of Management breaking new ground for the MBA

MSM brings the MBA to countries that need it most: fragile, low-income, often conflict-ridden and lacking management capabilities. Our business school incubation, mentorships, and business-to-business missions provide learning that is at the same time indigenous and global; traditional and progressive; ultimately challenging participants to work together for better global management.

Warwick Business School logo

WBS full-time MBA module Business: Politics, Society and Behaviour

The module innovation is the Warwick Film Challenge, which responds to the challenge/opportunity of new media technologies to rethink teaching and assessment. Instead of the traditional essay assessment, student groups produce a short film about a topic reflecting on recent controversial issues underlying the role of business in global society.

The winner will be announced during the Association of MBAs Awards and Gala Dinner. Book your tickets to find out who will take the award.
