ALBA campus is located in the heart of Athens, Greece, close to embassies, the Athens Concert Hall and minutes away from the city’s historic sites.
Founded in 1992, it is a non-state, not-for-profit, research-driven institution. The School maintains very close links with the industry, as it operates under the auspices of SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, the Hellenic Management Association (ΕΕΔΕ), and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ΕΒΕΑ).
In addition, ALBA Graduate Business School is an association of corporations and institutional organizations, currently numbering more than 90 members. The School's resident and visiting faculty members are drawn from established Business Schools around the world and are leading, widely-published academics and practitioners with extensive teaching, research and consulting experience.
In October 2011, The American College of Greece (ACG) and ALBA Graduate Business School (ALBA) officially announced their strategic alliance that will lead to the creation of a top international educational institution in Greece. This alliance will set new standards in higher education and will become a catalyst for positive change in Greek society and beyond.
In 2007 all MBA programs offered by ALBA Graduate Business School were accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), while in 2009 the MSc in Finance and MSc in Strategic HRM received the EPAS- EFMD accreditation. These accreditations have positioned ALBA amongst a select group of accredited business schools at a global level.
ΑLΒΑ Graduate Business School strives for excellence, quality and continuous innovation in research and teaching. Its international outlook and reach are reflected in its faculty and students, as well as in regular alliances with leading business schools worldwide. The School regularly collaborates with international institutions for the organization of surveys & competitions in Greece and abroad (e.g. Best Workplaces Competition, the European Business Plan of the Year Competition) as well as for executive development programs.
