15 May 2013 - AMBA appoints new Chief ExecutiveOn the first day of its annual International Conference for Deans and Directors, the Association of MBAs, announced the appointment of Andrew Main Wilson as its new Chief Executive. Main Wilson, former Chief Operating Officer of the Institute of Directors will join the international postgraduate business education accreditation and membership organisation on 5 August, 2013. 14 February 2013 - MBA Salaries stay strong -  MBA graduates continue to achieve high salaries beating averages from a decade ago (inflation considered), according to the latest research from the Association of MBAs (AMBA). The AMBA Careers Survey 2013 also reveals that twice as many MBAs are working in the public sector and more women MBAs are entering the legal profession than in previous years.  Read the press release here.

19 December 2012 - The Association of MBAs has awarded accreditation to eleven MBA programmes, one DBA and five MBM programmes at business schools in eight countries in 2012. Read the press release here.

17 October 2012 - The Association of MBAs announced the winners of its MBA Student of the Year Award, MBA Innovation Award and MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award at its Gala Dinner and 45th anniversary celebrations in London. The awards were presented by Kriss Akabusi MBE who was also guest speaker at the special ceremony attended by the MBA community from AMBA accredited business schools across the world.

25 May 2012 - University of Stellenbosch Business School MBA graduate, Gretchen Arangies, has won the Association of MBAs’ Global AMBAssador Challenge and will represent the Association and the MBA community at the UN Rio+ Global Sustainability Forum on 15 June 2012. Read the press release here.

18 May 2012 - Deans and Directors from leading business schools in 43 countries gathered in Spain for the Association of MBAs annual conference, to address innovation and the future of postgraduate management education. The Association of MBAs undertook three surveys with the 200 delegates, which captured the themes of innovation, engagement and development of MBA courses. The results of the survey showed that whilst the majority of respondents felt it is important for business schools to innovate and engage with practitioners and the local community, fewer respondents felt that their schools were very good at doing this.Read the press release here

The Association of MBAs hosted its annual gala dinner in London. The award winners for the MBA Student of the Year, MBA Innovation and MBA Entrepreneurial Venture were announced at the dinner.
