You can instantly enhance the experience for MBA students on your accredited programmes by becoming part of the Group Membership Scheme and including free membership of the Association of MBAs as an added benefit of choosing the MBA programme at your business school.
Membership of the Association of MBAs gives students access to a suite of careers, networking and knowledge services that go beyond what any one individual business school can provide.
Our position as the international authority on postgraduate management education means we have developed extensive links with MBA employers and executive recruitment agencies.
The career and networking resources we offer allow students to develop highly-effective job search strategies – even in an economic downturn.
Career Development Centre
We have recently enhanced our membership services with the launch of our new online Career Development Centre. Registered MBA students and alumni will now benefit from a range of carefully selected career development tools to complement the services already offered within your business school.
The Career Development Centre includes an international job database, detailed company profiles and employer interviews, carefully selected e-learning modules and aptitude tests, and vital redundancy advice.
These services are totally free to all students and alumni who are registered as members through the Association's Group Membership Scheme.
Worldwide Network of MBA Alumni and Students
Now more than ever it's essential for students to establish contacts to help them secure their next position. Our global membership network of MBA alumni and students, business schools, and employers enables students to connect with business leaders from around the world. Student members are also invited to join the Association of MBAs group on LinkedIn to support their career development and planning.
Supporting Entrepreneurial Talent
Data from our Research & Consultancy Centre (R&CC) suggests that many MBAs become involved with start-up companies soon after completing their studies. We are committed to supporting our members who are involved with these projects – that's why we've partnered with Microsoft as part of their BizSpark™ programme.
BizSpark™ provides startups with access to Microsoft platform technologies and development tools with no upfront costs. To join BizSpark™ you need to go through a Network Partner; the Association of MBAs is one of a select group of membership organizations that has been chosen by Microsoft as a Network Partner, and we are happy to sponsor our members who are interested in becoming part of this innovative programme.
25 schools, including Strathclyde Business School, Aston Business School and Nottingham University Business School, are already part of the Association of MBAs Group Membership Scheme because they want to give prospective students another reason to choose their MBA programme.
For more information about how your programme can become part of the Group Membership Scheme, contact Kate Hopkins, Membership Services Manager, at k.hopkins@mbaworld.com or call +44 (0)20 7246 2671.
