Nominations are now open for the MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award 2013
This award is a celebration of Entrepreneurship. We aim to support business schools that encourage entrepreneurship and to acknowledge and reward creativity in MBAs.
As a leading member of the worldwide management community the Association of MBAs has developed the MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award to encourage and promote the value of entrepreneurship in the current competitive climate and to highlight its importance in the global market.
The Association of MBAs invites you to nominate a student or alumnus/alumna for the MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award who is an entrepreneur. The winner will be an individual that has founded an innovative and successful business. The winner will be given the opportunity to raise their business’ profile on an international stage and influence further entrepreneurial activity.

To qualify for the MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award:
The business must have been founded/co-founded by an MBA student/ alumnus/ alumna
The business must have been operational (i.e. selling/trading) for a minimum period of six months and maximum period of three years
The business can be based on any legal activity
The businesses must be put forward for this award by the business school where the founder studied their MBA.

Judging
This is also a chance for individuals to showcase their business to high-profile judges at the forefront of entrepreneurship.
The winner of the award will be announced in November at the Association of MBAs’ Gala Dinner. The award will be presented in front of a prestigious gathering of business leaders, international deans and directors, distinguished MBA alumni and journalists. The Gala Dinner is sponsored by The Independent newspaper, the leading source for impartial advice and information on the MBA market.
