The ‘Accredited by the Association of MBAs’ logo is internationally recognised as an endorsement of the highest quality for business education programmes.

Logos

To benefit from this profile-raising certification, we strongly encourage all accredited schools to display our logo on all appropriate marketing materials: this includes your website, brochure and advertisements for your accredited programmes.  In using our logo please ensure:

 The logo is displayed correctly

There is no ambiguity about the programme(s) it refers to

A relevant ALT Tag and Image Title has been given to the logo

The logo (where possible) links to our website, www.mbaworld.com

How to present the Association of MBAs logos

Association of MBAs logo guides
To ensure that the Association of MBAs and Accredited by Association of MBAs brand marks are displayed correctly, there should be a clear area around the mark. No other graphic element should be allowed to infringe upon this space.

Accredited logo guides

Taking a measurement equal to the cap height of the ‘M’ in the logo and applying it to all four sides of the brand mark creates the exclusion zone, in all instances.

Alt Tag exampleALT Tag

An ALT Tag is a HTML tag that provides alternative text when non-textual elements, typically images, cannot be displayed on a webpage. Using an Alt Tag can:

Provide more information/the destination for a hyperlinked image

Aid navigation for web users with text only browsers or the graphics turned off

Enable and enhance website access for people with various disabilities.

Image Title (Advisory Title)

Whereas the Alt Tag should be used for describing images when they are not being displayed by the browser, the Image Title or Advisory Title attribute (hidden within the advanced tab of the image dialog panel) should be used to provide a tool tip when mousing over the image. Web browsers like Firefox and Chrome now enforce a difference between the two.

Linking to MBAworld

Ideally, when displaying the Association of MBAs logo, linking it to our homepage (www.mbaworld.com) would help visitors to your site understand what it means to be accredited by the Association. However, you may find other occasions when linking to our site is helpful to visitors, so it is important to ensure they are directed to the correct URL for the most relevant information:

When mentioning the Association of MBAs generally please link to our homepage:

If you are referring to the Association of MBAs accreditation process please link to: http://www.mbaworld.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=200&Itemid=107

If there are any other specific areas of the Association’s website you would like to direct visitors to and are not sure of the correct URL to use, please feel free to contact Leanne McKenzie (l.mckenzie@mbaworld.com), who will be happy to assist you.

Anchor Text

Anchor Text example
Where applicable, relevant Anchor Text should be used to direct users to mbaworld web pages. The Anchor Text, also known as a Link Label or Link Title, is the visible, hyperlinked text that users can click to be directed to another webpage/website.

For example a hyperlink to the mbaworld.com homepage might take this form:
<a href="http://www.mbaworld.com">AMBA</a>

The Anchor Text in this example is "AMBA"

Therefore the URL http://www.mbaworld.com displays on the web page as AMBA, contributing to clean, easy-to-read text.

NB: to ensure clarity it is recommended that we are referred to by our full name - Association of MBAs

Logo Dos

*The ‘Accredited by’ logo should be used to promote your accredited status.
The general ‘Association of MBAs’ logo should be used when referring to us as an organization.
As a Business school with accredited programme(s) it is likely that the ‘Accredited by’ logo will be of more relevance.
